The very long New Year's holiday was spent with the family in Baguio--our favorite city. We usually spend Christmases here, but the extended family had another plan, so the three of us booked a hotel (I did, actually) and explored Baguio like it was our first time there. Well, technically, that was the first time that the three of us traveled alone.
We stayed at Casa Vallejo, Baguio's oldest, albeit notorious hotel, where Miele guide two-timer Hill Station is located. It was cool, literally and figuratively, to have eaten our breakfasts there.
We also paid homage to the Bencab Museum and tried the tea (there was nothing else left), which was good.
